Mark D. Saba
Mark began his apprenticeship with Local 80 in 1980 and achieved Journeymen status in 1983. He was a field foreman for Cooney Engineering until 2005 and was elected Business Agent in June of that year. He was reelected for a second term in 2008 and then was appointed Business Manager/Financial Secretary by the Executive Board in 2010. He was reelected twice, in 2011 and 2014. He served one term as a Union Trustee and was elected to Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) in 1993 until present. He currently serves as a Trustee on Pension, Health Insurance, Sub and Collection Funds. Married for 31 years, Mark has a daughter, Amber, and a son, Jake.
Eric D. McPherson
Eric started his career as a Decker & Sider in August 1987 and has been a member of Local 80 ever since. He’s completed a number of upgrading classes and was appointed chief steward and job steward on many job sites. He has been a Business Agent since 2005 and a member of the General Presidents Club for International Political Action since 2001. He was elected as a Sheet Metal Workers Local 80 General Fund Trustee, served as Vice President on the Local 80 Executive Board and is currently serving his fifth term as a Local 80 Insurance Fund Trustee. Eric volunteers for many union activities including the Local 80 picnic, Labor Day parade and motorcycle outing.
Tim is a member in good standing for 28 years and has held many positions within Local 80, including: General Fund Trustee (3 years), E-board member (3 years), Sub Fund Trustee (4 years) and Job Site Steward.
Jason is a proud sheet metal worker and father of three. A former Marine and graduate of Labor Studies Center at Wayne State University, he is dedicated to representing the membership of Local 80.
Chip is a proud member of Local 80 since 1982. He graduated the apprentice program and has been a Journeyman, Foreman and Superintendent/Estimator. Working as management, he deals with members, contractors, general contractors and other building trades. Chip is the proud father of three sons

Charles (Charlie) M. Taormina
Charlie has been a member in good standing of Local 80 for over forty years. He completed the apprenticeship program and many up grading classes. He has been a member of the Joint Apprentice and Training Committee since 1979, an elected organizer from 1993-1999 and was reappointed in 2008 to the position he currently holds. He is the current chairman for the Local 80 picnic committee and a former player/manger of the softball team. Charlie believes that effective organizing is the key to a strong, progressive union.
